This is a painting that I had started previous to the Dr. Sketchy event. I wanted to do something that reflected the old glamor posters and magazines of my grandfather's time; back when smoking was not considered dangerous. In fact, if I recall correctly, in art history class, we looked at an old ad that said: "Have a healthy Marlboro" or whatever brand it was.

thanks guys, I'll look into the cg hub thing. I want to start posting stuff on various art websites more but I still feel my art hasn't yet reach the level of professionalism that I am aiming for.

The next post should be interesting, I'm working on a double page layout taking into account some feedback from the Massive Black Workshop in Dallas.
